The Artificial Intelligence & Cognitive Science conference has taken place annually in Ireland since 1988 and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of results relating to work conducted in Ireland and worldwide. AICS 2007 will be held in the Dublin Institute of Technology from Wednesday 29 August to Friday 31 August.

AICS is organised by the Artificial Intelligence Association of Ireland. The AICS 2007 co-chairs are:

    Dr Sarah Jane Delany, Dublin Institute of Technology
    Dr Michael Madden , National University of Ireland, Galway.

All accepted papers will be presented at the conference, either orally or as posters, and included in the conference proceedings. In addition, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to be considered for publication in a special issue of the journal Artificial Intelligence Review , published by Springer.

The Program Committee invites submissions of papers that report original research, both basic and aplied, in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science, broadly construed.

     *  ontological knowledge management and ontology mapping
